Career Paths: Commisioned Corps
Eligibility

Applicants entering IHS through the U.S. Public Health Service as a Commissioned Corps officer must meet the following requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Medical Physical
  • Minimum 2 Year Commitment
  • Must Be Under 44 Years of Age at Time of Commission
  • Registered Hygienists: Bachelors Degree and Valid License From Any U.S. State
  • Dentists: DDS or DMD and Valid License From Any U.S. State
